Emory F. Miller
RED LION – Emory F. Miller, 85, of 540 S. Pine St., who was a former cabinetmaker, died Sunday at his home. He was the husband of Bertha V. (Wehrly) Miller.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. Burial will be in St. Jacob's (Stone) Church Cemetery. Viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Miller was born in Codorus Township, the son of the late Tobias B. and Ellen J. (Fishel) Miller.
He retired from Red Lion Table Co. where he was a veneer cutter. He was employed as a cabinetmaker previously for most of his lifetime in several Red Lion furniture manufacturing plants. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and of its Good Fellowship-Wide Awake Sunday School Class.
Mr. Miller also is survived by a son, Clarence L. Miller, Red Lion; two granddaughters; two great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Anna Shauck, York, and Blanche Auchey, York New Salem.
Officiating at the service will be his pastor, the Rev. John E. Fureman.
