Tomas Vega Sr., 90, passed away in Corpus Christi, Texas on November 10, 2010. He was born to the late Juan and Dolores Vega on July 7, 1920 in Kingsville, Texas. Tomas work at the King Ranch for many years. He was dedicated and loving to his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Agripina Vega, his brothers Manule and Guadalupe Vega and his sister Martha Robles.
Tomas is survived by his son, Tomas Vega Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas; stepsons, Enrique Ledesma of Tampico Mexico and Pete Hernandez of Clarksville, Tennessee; two grandchildren; five step grandchildren; seven sisters and four brothers. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 12, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Cage Mills Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Cage Mills Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
