Jacob William Lehman Weaver was born in Madison Township Dec. 2, 1861 (note difference in date on stone pictured), the son of Jacob Weaver and Eliza Jane Greenawalt Weaver. His father, who had joined the PA Vol., 103rd Reg. Dec. 1, 1961, never got to see his son. He died June 1862 of wounds received in Battle of Fair Oaks, Seven Pines, Virginia.
Jacob L. Weaver was married 3 times; first, to Lillie Florence Edmonds about 1885. They had 2 sons. Second, to Jessie Barbara Conner in 1897. They had 6 children. Third, to Maggie Barber in 1909, divorced in 1911.
He died Jan. 29, 1922 at the old Clarion County Home near Sligo.
