Hilary Sylvester Young was the 5th child of Daniel Carpenter Young and Hannah Nancy Galloway Young. He married Ollie Luvene Pittman in Burrville, Tn. They had seven children, Truman Sylvester Young, Freeman Young, Arlin Ernest Young, Trilby Clayton Young, Vaughn Cecil Young, Velma Flo Young Misch and Delmar Vern Young. All are buried here except one. Mom (Gertrude)told me many stories of her father-in-law but mostly what a fine man he was and how he helped her around her house. Her taught her to make jelly the old fashioned way and how to can food out of the garden. She talked about him a lot more than my Dad did.
