Mr. Pannell was born in 1880, the son of the late David and Sue Pannell. He married Ida Ford of Lipscomb in 1904.
He is survived by one son, Bris Pannell, Waynesboro; and one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Pannell Stuples, also of Waynesboro. Also a brother, David Pannell, Waynesboro; eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and a number of nephews and nieces.
