Robert A. Fleming, 94, died Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in Maple Lawn Lodge, where he had been two years.
Born April 11, 1875, in Sturgeon, he was a son of Peter and Fannie Bryon Fleming. Mr. Fleming was a retired Wabash brakeman. He had lived in Moberly for 75 years. Mr. Fleming was a member of the Sturgeon Baptist Church.
Surviving are one brother, William A., of the Maple Lawn Lodge; three nieces, Mrs. Ione Swearngin, Mrs. J. J. J. McGrath, Moberly, and Mrs. Oletha Bryant, Phoenix, Ariz.; two nephews, H.K. Seymour, Moberly, and James A. Fleming, Denver, Colo. His wife Lena, died in 1958; and a brother, Luther, died in January of this year.
Graveside services were conducted at 11 a.m. today in Sunset Memorial Gardens by the Rev. C.W. Cornn, Christian minister. The Million and Greer Funeral Home was in charge.
