Funeral for Billy Ray Weems, 61, of Moulton will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Hal Dairge and the Rev. Don Winterburg officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Mr. Weems died Saturday in Lordsburg, N.M. He was born June 23, 1934, in Lawrence County. He was a member of Donald Baptist Church in Town Creek and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a truck driver for T and J Trucking Co.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Weems; three sons, Dale Weems of Town Creek, David Weems of Hartselle and Jamie Weems of Goldsboro, N.C.; one daughter, Sheila Fugaet of Moulton; his mother, Jessie Weems of Town Creek; two brothers, Jerald Weems of Decatur and J.K. Weems of Muscle Shoals; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Lovatt Hutto, James Kelly Weems, Doug Pullen, Don Pullen, Lester Brown and Jack McMillan.
