Tim Lape, 75, of Sioux Falls, S.D., died Saturday, April 9, 1994, at McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls.

Services were held Wednesday at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Sioux Falls, with interment in Hills of Rest Memorial Park. Mr. Lape was born Jan. 2, 1919, in Estelline, S.D. He grew up in the Larchwood area.

On July 27, 1940, he married Viola Parkinson in Larchwood. They farmed near Larchwood and then moved to Ben Clare, S.D., in 1956. He worked for Louis Zabel in the salvage yard until 1975 and was then employed with First Bank of South Dakota as a parking attendant until he retired in 1983. They moved to Sioux Falls in 1990.

Survivors include his wife; five sons, Larry and Denny, both of Valley Springs, S.D., Ron and Kenny, both of Elkins, Ark., and Jack of Sioux Falls; one daughter, Donna Marshall of Grand Island, Neb.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, LeRoy of Papillion, Neb.; and two sisters, Emma Jean Gunter of Canute, Okla., and Helen Gunter of Edgewood, N.M.
