Last rites for Wesley James (Shorty) BECK were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Assembly of God Church, with Rev. James Gitchell, pastor, in charge.
Burial was in the Canadian cemetery under the direction of Stickley Funeral Home.
Mr. BECK, age 57, died at his home Sunday.
He was born at Leon, Iowa, on February 12, 1905; was married to Opal M. WILKINSON at Beaver, Oklahoma on August 04, 1927; moved to Allison in 1930, where he became a member of the Pentecostal Church and came to Canadian later in that year.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Opal BECK; two daughters, Miss Frances BECK of the home and Mrs. Patricia BENNETT of Canadian; four sons, Billie L. BECK of Lancaster, California, Emmitt E. BECK of Perryton, Floyd D. BECK of Perryton, and Carl E. BECK of Canadian; one sister, Nancy RICHARDSON of Ames, Iowa; and one brother, O. R. BECK of Modesto California.
