On 12 Apr 1970 at the Pittsburgh Bible Institute, Lulu married Carl Svend Ove Dindler (8 Jul 1895-6 Sep 1971). Svend came to America in 1915 and spent 3 years in Pittsburgh Bible Institute then returned to Odense, Fyn, Denmark, married and worked in his father's business (ornamental iron). He invented a drill to drill a square hole and thus surpassed his competition. After his first wife died, he returned to PBI to finish the 4-year course. Met Lulu again and married her. They returned to Denmark. After he passed away Lulu returned to Pittsburgh Bible Institute (she was 82 years).
Lulu spent 30 years as a missionary in China. She died at age 92 on Sunday July 6, 1980 in the Holmes House on Butler Street in Pittsburgh, PA where she had been residing. Received from contributor Jodie O in December 2020.
