Edna Virginia Austin, 77, of Apt. 117 of Grafton Manor, Grafton, died Sunday, May 15, 1994, at the home of her daughter in Mt. Clare. She was born at Thornton on February 26, 1917, the daughter of the late Russell and Hattie Satterfield. She died of natural causes. She is survived by five sons, Edward Wayne Austin of Cleveland, Ohio, Harold W. Austin, Jr., of Grafton, William Austin of Warner Robins, Ga., Gerald Phillip Austin of Clarksburg, and Jack "Pete" Austin of Gastonia, N.C,; three daughters Mary K. Sinclair of Cleveland, Ohio, Kandy L. Wilcox of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Michael (Karen) Frazier of Mt. Clare; one sister Mildred Carder of Thornton; several grandchildren and great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold W. Austin, who died Nov. 1, 1979; one daughter and one son, both dying in infancy; half-brother, Doby Grimes; half-sister, Inez Curtis. Austin was a homemaker and attended Full Gospel Chapel Church in Clarksburg.
