On Monday of last week an acident occurred to Mr. Samuel Sheffler, on the farm of Mr. Simon Lecron, on the Marsh, tenanted by a nephew of Mr. S. By the upsetting or falling off of a load of wheat he was thrown to the ground, falling with his side on a stone. He afterwards walked home and eat a hearty supper. Dr. J. M. Ripple who was passing after he returned from the field was called in and made an examination but could discover no injuries occasioned by the fall. Soon after the Dr. left he took suddenly ill, perspiring very freely, and died before he could be recalled, some internal injury we presume causing his death. The deceased was an industrious man and a good citizen. He was in the 63d year of his age and leaves a family.
