Mr Alexander, Summerville
Ed Rowland Alexander, 71, Rt 2, Summerville, died at 3;25 p.m. Friday. He was a native of Chattooga County, born Aug. 24, 1907, the son of the late William Alexander and Sally Nunn Allexander.
He was a retired construction worker and a lifelong resident of Chattooga County.
Survivors include his daughter Mrs Dale Trammell, Summerville, a son, William G Alexander, Summerville, eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today in the chapel of Lane Funeral Home with the Revs. Billy Wright and Junior Flemming officiating.
Active pallbearers will be Emory Alexander, Ernest Alexander, Joe Alexander, Bill McCollum, Sonny Adams, and Tommy Dover.
