DIED - In New Oregon, April 8th, 1887, after a lingering illness of more than a year, Chas. L. Bly, son of Chas. S. Bly, aged nearly 27 years. Deceased was a young man of noble principles and of unstained character and reputation. The funeral services were held in the school house in New Oregon, the sermon was by Elder Fall, the funeral cortege consisted of more than sixty vehicles. His remains were deposited in the New oregon cemetery by the side of a mother and sister resting there.
