Samuel Craig, 86, former surveyor of Auglaize county for 24 years, died at his home from a complication of diseases. He was a soldier in the Civil Way, serving as a captain of infantry. Mrs. D. J. Baumgardner of Lima is a daughter. He was also the father of Mrs. Thompson of Defiance, wife of Congressman C. J. Thompson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
