Mrs. Wright was a member of the Waynesboro Church of the Brethren. She was the widow of William Garnett Wright who died Sept. 6, 1949. She was also preceded in death by a son, John C. Wright.
Mrs. Wright was born at Crimora on Dec. 26, 1877, a daughter of the late Robert R. and Nancy Barger Hoy.
She is survived by five sons, Stuart C. Wright of Nitro, W. Va., Christopher Wright of Norfolk, Wilmer R. Wright, Floyd Wright and Leonard Wright, all of Waynesboro; five daughters, Mrs. Bert Short of Lake Worth, Fla., Mrs. Boyd (Mae) Campbell, Mrs. Winford (Ruth) Whitmore, Mrs. Vincent (Beulah) Via and Mrs. Burl (Emma) Via, all of Waynesboro; one sister, Mrs. Lillie Walker of Rand, W. Va.; 50 grandchildren and a number of great and great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Waynesboro Church of the Brethren conducted by the Rev. Wendell Flory. Burial will be in the Forest Chapel Church of the Brethren cemetery at Crimora.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Friday at the Etter Funeral Home.
