Mr. W. H. Anderson, who has been for many years suffering from consumption, died at his residence, South First street, 6:30 a.m., 10th of June, 1891, aged 40 yrs., 7 months and seven days. He became a member of the Christian church during his illness, and told all his friends who visited him of the fact with much pleasure, and appeared in every way reconciled to meet death at any time. No man ever left this world more calmly and peacefully than he did. He was concerned with his wife's business to the last, and counseled her to remain where she was, and she would yet do well. He directed her to bury him on the north side of his babe who died five years ago. His funeral was well attended, as he was generally like by all who knew him.
Mrs. Anderson takes this opportunity of thanking all of his friends who helped during his illness and burial.
