Married in 1859. According to the 1900 Census they had been married 41 years. They were living in Du Page county and owned the house and farm with a mortgage. Sons Benjamin (33 yo), George (31 yo) and Arthur (20 yo) plus a niece Frances (6 yo) lived with them. We did not know that he had a son named George. The five children left to mourn her passing were: Sarah, Benjamin, George, John and Arthur Earl. And of course her husband Enoch. Arthur Earl was my father's father - also the man I am named after. Most people think a father names a Junior after himself - they don't - they name their son after their father !!!
