Ralph Sutton, 66, of Grand Island died unexpectedly early Saturday morning at his home. Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon in Grand Island with burial in the Hillside Cemetery at Wolbach.

Mr. Sutton was a retired Sears Farm Store employee. He formerly farmed in the Wolbach community. He was born on a farm near Cook November 3, 1898, to Tal and Vesta Sutton.

He and Ethel Prewitt were married August 28, 1923 at Fullerton. They lived on a farm near Wolbach until 1933 when they moved to Holt County. In 1948 they moved to grand Island. Mr. Sutton was a member of the West Lawn Methodist Church in Grand Island and of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel; one son, Ronald of Grand Island; two daughters, Mrs. Max Butts of Clarks, and Mrs. Delbert Force of Tacoma, Washington, and six grandchildren.

The deceased is a cousin of Mrs. Ernest Perry.
