Samuel H. Woolworth, 84, route 1, Hinton, a prominent farmer in this area, died Sunday at a Sioux City,IA hospital.
Mr. Woolworth was born April 2, 1877, on the farm on which he resided during his lifetime. He retired from active farming a year ago. He married Lillie Burke February 22, 1899, at Leeds.
Suvivors include the widow and a sister, Mrs. Rose Savage Hough, of Marysville, CA.
Funeral services will be at 1:30pm Tuesday at the Anderson Funeral Home, Rev Harris Hilscher of the Third Prebyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers, all nephews, will be, Eugene, Lee, Larry and Richard Woolworth and Harvey Huggenberger.
