Mrs. Nellie Montgomery, 65 a prominent lodge woman and the wife of Frank Montgomery,former street commissioner, died suddenly at her home, 911 Dubuque st. Sioux City,IA, following a heart attack.
Born Feb 6, 1875, at James,IA, she was married Feb 24, 1897. She was a member of the third Presbyterian church and its Ladies Aid society; Isis chaper, O.E.S.; White Shrine of Jerusalem, Daughters of the Nile, the Daughters of Union Veterans, Zala Rebekah lodge and the PsiPsiPsi sorority.
Surviving beside the widower, are two sons, Harlan H. and Wayne, both of Sioux City,IA; two daughters, Mrs. Harvey Carr(Dorothy)and Evelyn Montgomery of Sioux City,IA; three brothers, Robert and Sam Woolworth of James,IA and Frank Woolworth of Los Angeles,CA.; two sisters, Mrs.Kate Luce and Mrs.Charles Savage(Rose), both of Sioux City and one grandchild, Dorothy Virginia Carr. Harvey Carr,the son-in-law formerly was county auditor.
The body was taken to the Westcott-Doughty-Chandler funeral home.

Siblings: James Henry, Katherine Mariah(Luce), Eva Jane(Wilson), Robert Harvey, Frank Sylvester, Samuel Hiram, & Rosey Vale(Savage).
