Kleo Fay Loving was born near Oswalt, Love Co. OK on April 20, 1911, the daughter and 8th child of Mack C. and Mary Alice (Tucker) Stewart. She passed from this life on October 27, 2010 at the Wilson OK Nursing Center.
Kleo was raised in the Oswalt area and graduated from Oswalt High School in 1929, having been editor of the school newspaper. She married Olen G. Loving on December 12, 1931. They moved to Ringling in 1942, she working as a barber and he as a rural mail carrier as well as mayor of Ringling for two terms. She belonged to the Eastern Star and long time member of the First Baptist Church of Ringling.
Kleo was the last surviving sibling of a family of three brothers Bill, Ed, and J.D. and five sisters Effie Houser, Gussie Lynch, Oda Provence, Velda Strother, Ella Fraley, husband Olen, as well as two infant daughters Marion Jean, and Jayne Alice whom also predeceased her.
Kleo is survived by her daughter Bettye Watson of Azle, granddaughter Janna Watson of Santa Monica CA, Barry Watson of White Settlement TX and three great grandchildren, Jason, Brandon, and Harmony Watson , one sister in law Myrtle Stewart and dear friend Millie Tabler.
Interment was in Simon Cemetery, Love Co. OK. The officiant was Bro. Mike Williams of the First Baptist Church of Ringling. Services were directed by Roberts Funeral Home of Ringling.
