Sarah Elizabeth Pickerell [sic] was born near Agency, Iowa, July 17, 1862 [sic]. She united in marriage with Alvin Davis March 17, 1887, died September 18, 1904, aged 42 years, 2 months and 1 day. To this union were born seven children, two having preceded the mother into the better world. The husband and four sons, Willis Emery, William Joseph, Harvey Henry and Clarence and one daughter, Iris Lovilia [sic], are left to mounr [sic] the loss of a loving wife and mother. Before her death she expressed herself to friends as willing and ready to die if it was the will of the Father, who doeth all things well. Contributed.
