Henry A. Blandford, 75, of 11164 Kentucky 56, Owensboro, died Friday, June 5, 1987, at Mercy Hospital. He was born in Daviess County, was a farmer at Mount St. Joseph Academy before he retired and was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Mary Louise Merimee Blandford; 8 sons, Jack, Terry, Michael, Bruce, Mark, Rick & Steve Blandford, all of Owensboro, and Larry Blandford of Evansville, IN; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Mullins of Loretta, TN; 19 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Paul & Pat Blandford, both of Owensboro; and 2 sisters, Ida Staples of Owensboro and Louise Peterson of Lebanon, KY. Services are at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation after noon Sunday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home where prayers will be said at 7 p.m.
