Mrs. Lida Mae Baker - Pueblo Chieftain - December 2, 1976 - Mrs. Lida Mae Baker of Boone, passed away at a local hospital Tuesday night. She was the wife of Walter A. Baker of the family home and mother of Mrs. Mary C. Wilson, Fowler, and Allen Baker of Sugar City. She was the sister of Mrs. Zitta Hughes of Beulah. She had 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two children, Mrs. Loretta Black and Ellsworth Baker, and a brother, Paul Wolf. Mrs. Baker was a member of the First Baptist Church in Boone. She had been an employee of the Pueblo Army Depot for 31 years. She was a lifetime resident of Colorado and lived in Boone since 1946. Funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Friday in the Valhalla Comer Garden Chapel. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
