W.R. HOLLOWAY DIES AT HOME IN OKLAHOMA

Former Resident To Be Brought Here for Burial Services.

W.R. Holloway, 77 years old, a former well-known citizen of Kirksville and Adair County, died at his home in Henryetta, Okla., yesterday afternoon about 5 o'clock, according to word received by his daughter, Mrs. Warner Mills. He had been in poor health for the past two or three years but only bedfast a week or so.

While the funeral arrangements have not been completed, it is thought the body will be brought here for burial.

Mr. Holloway was born in Adair County on December 27, 1858, and he lived in this city until the winter of 1910 when he moved to Oklahoma to make his home. He served two terms as county clerk in this county and was superintendent of schools in Kirksville for seven years. He visited about a year ago and was in ill health then.

He is survived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Warner Mills, of Kirksville, and Mrs. Lora Wilhoit, of Houston, Texas, one son, West Holloway, of San Antonio, Texas, three brothers, E.L. Holloway, of Lebanon, Albert Holloway, address unknown, and Walter Holloway, of Clayton, and one sister, Mrs. George Leavitt, of near Kirksville.
