Elizabeth Stover married into a Revolutionary War line. Her husband, George Garrett, was the second son of Anna Maria Valentine and Frederick Gehret (Garrett). His maternal grandparents were Philip and Maria Valentine. His great-grandfather was Henry Valentine, NSDAR #A116839 and wife, Anna Maria Weik. Elizabeth and George were married on 13 November 1818 in Heidelberg, Lebanon County, PA. They lived many years in Schaefferstown, PA and were the parents of 7 children. The children's names were Levi, Martha, Martin, John, Eliza, Sarah, and Franklin. George and Elizabeth (and several children) moved west to Ohio before 1850, first living in Knox County, Ohio, where he worked as a tailor while Elizabeth kept house. They then bought a farm and moved to Richland County, Ohio. Elizabeth remained in Richland County, Ohio until her death.
