Penelope (Penny) Katsis McGrath, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on October 31, 2010. She resided at 5187 South 1870 East in Holladay, Utah at the time of her death.

Penny was born October 6, 1920 in Pocatello, ID. She married the love of her life, Phil McGrath, in May 1939. Phil passed away on July 12, 2002.

Grandma's family always came first and was the most important part of her life. She is well known for her love of cruising with her family and friends; especially tour-directing these activities. Professionally she has been affiliated with the Olympic Club (Sand Trap), the Club Sojourner, and the Granite Club.

Friends will fondly remember the "Witch's" golf tournaments which were held for over nineteen years. She and her family have shared loving times together at Flaming Gorge (Manila) and St. George.

Penny is survived by her three children and their families: Mick (Barbara) McGrath, Tom (Kathy) McGrath, Penny (Kenny) Williams; her sister Katherine (Gus) Floor; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by two sisters: Helen (Andy) Bathemess, and Bella (Herman) Gygi.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive (1495 East), East Millcreek. Friends may also call on Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Thursday at 12:45 p.m. at the same location.
