Mr. Metcalf was the father of our L.D. Metcalf, and was well known in Longmont. He was born in Davenport, N. Y., and came to Colorado in ??, but has been in Oregon and Nebraska since that date. He leaves one brother in Adrian, Mich., and two sons and two daughters now living.
The remains arrived in Longmont Sunday, accompanied by a daughter, Miss Minnie Metcalf, and the interment took place in the Longmont cemetery.
