Rose Sheff, 95, of East Syracuse, NY, passed away Thursday, October 28, at The Crossings Nursing Home, Minoa. She was employed as a file clerk for Nationwide Insurance Co. for several years before retiring in 1976. She was predeceased by her husband, James D. Sheff, and her son, William P. Sheff. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Roberts of East Syracuse, and her son, James D. Sheff of Maryland, NY. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be Monday at 8:45 a.m. at Forani & Cline Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Minoa. Burial: St. Mary's Cemetery, Minoa. Calling Hours: 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 206 Kinne St., East Syracuse.
