Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Weaver were held Friday afternoon, October 30, at the Assembly of God church at Denton. Mrs. Weaver, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pankey Jackson was born March 23, 1890 in Hardin county, Tenn. She passed away October 28 at the age of 63 years, 7 months and 15 days. The Rev. Gene Leach officiated at the service and interment was at Mt. Zion Cemetery, with German Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors are: one son, Herbert Weaver of Steele; six daughters, Jewel Austil and Mrs. Doris Ridge of Steele, Mrs. Hazel Ridge of Indianapolis, Ind., Mrs. Emily Lovelace of Hayti and Mrs. Dora White of St. Louis. Two brothers and three sisters also survive, being George Jackson, living in Tennessee and Henry Jackson of Wynne, Ark.; Mrs. Buford Channell and Mrs. Roena Martin of Holland and Mrs. Mamie Lindsey of Qulin, Mo. Twenty-nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive.
