He is survived by his companion, Joanne "Joy" Nichols; two sons, Todd Emory of San Luis, Colorado, and Byron Emory of Brooten, Minnesota; daughter, Lesa Emory Hoke of Pottsville, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Barbara Dean Emory Chandler of Weaverville, North Carolina, and Sandra Emory Baley of Wilmington, North Carolina; seven grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews.
Emmettee was a member of Pottstown Quoit Club, and Holy Trinity Club and the Manatawny Association of Pottstown. He was an avid golfer and bowler.
