Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Norfolk Home for Funerals, where the body will lie in state from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Martin L. Russert, Grace Lutheran Church pastor, will conduct the rites. Burial will be in the New Lutheran Cemetery.
Mr. Spiering was born June 24, 1903 in Norfolk. He was employed by the Norfolk street department a number of years.
He is survived by his widow, Helen; his mother, Mrs. Ida Richardson of Norfolk; three brothers, including Herman of Norfolk, and nine sisters, including Mrs. Mildred Trautman of Norfolk.
