Funeral services for J. R. Richardson, 90, more familiarly know throughout this section as "Dick" Richardson, and one of Henry county's oldest lifelong residents, having spent practically his entire life in the Dyers Store community, were held at Leatherwood Primitive Baptist Church Thursday. Interment followed in the family cemetery near the home.
He died Tuesday at his home after a lingering illness.
The deceased was twice married, first to the former Miss Eliza Eggleston, who died many years ago and then to the former Miss Sallie Bray, being survived by the latter and 15 children.

Editor's Note: Joseph Richard Richardson, Sr. was the son of Abner Richardson and Nancy Minter.
