Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon for James E. Richardson, 77, former Dyers' Store resident who died in a local hospital Saturday morning.
Services were held from the home of Mr. & Mrs. H. A. Richardson, Moss Street, with whom the deceased had made his home for the last four years.
Three sons survive: W. H of Dyers' Store, and H. A. & O. H. of Salisbury, N. C.
Also four daughters: Mrs. W. M. Barrow, Mayodan, N.C.; Mrs. Missouri Lewis, Petersburg; Mrs. Sol Bernstein, Richmond; and Mrs. C. L. McCray of Roanoke.
