Ronald A Grant, 79, of St Joseph, died Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at Heartland East Hospital in St Joseph.
He was born April 24, 1922, in Chillicothe, the son of William and Agnes McKenzie Grant.
Mr Grant graduated from the Chillicothe school system. He lived in Chillicothe for over thirty years, prior to moving to St Joseph. Mr Grant retired as a journeyman printer. He was a member of St Columban Catholic Church in Chillicothe.
Survivors include a son, Robert of Raytown; a daughter, Martha Grant of Overland Park, Kansas; two brothers, Ed of Brownsville, Texas, and Bernard of Kansas City; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Walz.
Graveside services and burial will be held at 10 am, Saturday, June 16, 2001, at the Leopolis Cemetery, in Livingston County.
Friends may call from noon until 5 pm, Friday, June 16, at the Norman-Wagy-Gordon Funeral Home in Chillicothe. There is no scheduled family visitation.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman-Wagy-Gordon Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
