Brooklet - Mrs. Lois P. Morris, 54, died Tuesday at Bulloch Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was a native of Bulloch County but had lived in Savannah for a number of years before moving to Brooklet. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Savannah.
Surviving are her husband, Allen Morris of Brooklet; a sister, Mrs. Della P. Bryant of Spokane, Wash.; four brothers, Bill and Luther Parrish, both of Brooklet, James E. Parrish of Ellabell and Walter A. Parrish of Goldberg, n.C.; two half-brothers, Herman Parrish of Ellabell and Willis Parrish of Washington, D.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Smith-Tillman Mortuary in Statesboro, with burial in Harville Baptist Church Cemetery.
