Brooklet - William H. "Bill" Parrish, 78, died early Thursday at his home after a long illness. The Bryan County native lived in Bulloch County most of his life and was a retired boilermaker. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Susie Crosby Parrish, Brooklet; three daughters, Peggy Littleton, Ellabell, and Debbit Cribbs and Pat Bowen, both of Brooklet; three sons, William Timothy "Timmy" Parrish, Grand Bay, Ala., William H. "Billy" Parrish, San Antonio, Texas, and James Edward "Bubba" Parrish, Brooklet; a brother, Walt A. Parrish, Newport News, Va.; two half-brothers, Herman Parrish, Ellabell, and Willis Parrish, Meldrim; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Smith-Tillman Mortuary with the Rev. C. M. Butler and the Rev. J. C. Brown officiating. Burial will be in Harville Baptist Church cemetery. Smith-Tillman Mortuary.
