She was born to Wilford Woodruff and Bessie Higgins Thompson, Oct. 13, 1922, in Tetonia, Idaho. At an early age she was adopted by Juanita and Oscar Loveland. She spent most of her childhood in Fish Haven, Idaho, and graduated from Fielding High in Paris, Idaho.
After graduation, she moved to Pocatello, where she met and married the love of her life, Evan Elliott Hocking. She spent the next 69 years in Pocatello.
She and Evan had four children, Elliott Hocking, Leatha Mickey (Neil) Madsen, Shirley (Daryl) Sleigh, Kay Hocking; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, whom she adored.
O'Dean loved embroidering, ceramics, reading, and drawing. She belonged to a TOPS Club for over 40 years. She achieved her KOPS status, which she was very proud of.
She was a member of the LDS Church and served for many years in the Primary. She belonged to a senior singles group that she enjoyed greatly and had many special friends.
She worked at Deseret Industries for a few years until her health forced her to stop working.
She had special friends, Margaret, Phyllis, Pat, Doris, Lilas and a best friend, Grace, and many TOPS friends who meant the world to her.

Mom you endured many challenges (more that your share) but you never lost your faith In God and always had a joke and a smile for everyone. You were never judgmental and loved everyone.
