Claude Elmer Shively, 71, of Decatur died 6:55 p.m. Friday in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, where friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Mr. Shively was born in Macon County, a son of Claude B. and Lizzie Elder Shively.
Mr. Shively was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Warrensburg United Methodist Church and Lodge 959 AF&AM in Warrensburg.
He was married to Maude Baer in Decatur, June 27, 1936.
Surviving are his wife; a son, John E. of Morton; sister, Fleta Purdue of Decatur; and four grandchildren.
A sister preceded him in death.
