Hope Y. Wolfe, 63, of Parks, died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006, in Armstrong County Health Center , Kittanning. Born Dec. 5, 1942, the daughter of the late John and Dorothy Manley Lasher, she lived in New Kensington before moving to Parks in 1969. She was a graduate of St. Alvernia School of Nursing at St. Francis Medical Center, Pittsburgh . Mrs. Wolfe was a licensed practical nurse, and worked at Allegheny Valley Hospital , Natrona Heights , and West Haven Nursing Home, Washington Township . A member of Cornerstone Ministries in Export, she loved to sew. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Stanley M. Wolfe; a daughter, Deborah R. (Tom) Rabickow of Apollo; a son, Robert A. Wolfe of Parks; a grandson, Chasen Shirley of Apollo; four brothers, Tom (Jane) Lasher of Buffalo, N.Y., Denny (Faye) Lasher of Lower Burrell, Byron (Evelyn) Lasher of Florida, and Timothy "Ty" (Karen) Lasher of Georgia; a brother-in-law, Raymond Kahn; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Kahn. There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, March 25, at Cornerstone Ministries, 2200 Cornerstone Lane , Export, with Pastor Ron Jordan officiating.
