Faye Vaughan, 97, of Denton, died Sunday October 17, 2010, at Denton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Mrs. Vaughan was born on July 16, 1913, in Sanger, TX to Robert Riley and Almedia (Harris) Baker. She was married to George W. Vaughan on November 26, 1932, in Marietta, OK; he died on February 8, 1992. She was retired from Russell Newman.
She is survived by her grandson, Danny Vaughan and his wife Jane of Corinth; great-grandchildren, Andrew Howard and Chloe Howard; nieces, Shirley White and Nancy Howard; daughter-in-law, Freddie Vaughan Burnett. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Wayne Vaughan in 1989; grandson, Tim Vaughan in 1988; daughter, Betty Ann Vaughan in 1941; infant son in 1938; sisters, Ruth Wallace and Johnnie Judkins; brother, Roy Baker.
