Johnnie Mae Baker Judkins , 94, passed from this earthly life to her heavenly home on Monday, September 27, 2010 at the Atrium Medical Center in Corinth, TX. She was born April 19, 1916 in Pilot Point, TX to Robert Riley Baker and Almedia Harris Baker. Johnnie married Frank Kelly on Feb. 3, 1945 and to this union were born two daughters, Shirley Ann and Nancy Kay.In 1969 she married Joe Judkins.

After moving from Sanger to Denton in 1940, Johnnie worked at Miller's Grill, Russell's Dept. Store, Russell-Newman Mfg. Co. and retired from Victor Equipment Co. After retirement and until recently, she volunteered at Ruth's Room and RSVP. She was a life-long, faithful and dedicated member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Jimmie White and Nancy and Alan Howard of Sanger, step-son, Bobby Joe Judkins and wife, Elaine of Farmers Branch, sister, Faye Vaughan, grandchildren: Gayla Bridges, Joel White, Cindy Belew , Mike Belew, Alana Elliott, April Hensen, Bart Judkins and Casey Judkins; great grandchildren: Jacob Bridges, Kyley Jo White, Matilda Poux, Cole Belew, Jade Belew, and Tye Elliott; nephews Connie Baker and Danny(Jane)Vaughan.

Johnnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Ruth Wallace, brother Roy Baker, step-daughter Joyce Erwin, step-son Weldon Judkins, great grandsons, Clinton and Clayton White.
