As his great great grandson, I'd like to clear up the middle name and last name mistake on the tombstone.
John's middle name is Allen, not Albert or Alben.
His brother's first name is Albert. John's death certificate is written in cursive, but enlarged you can clearly see Allen for his middle name
His parents were: William H. Minnear (1840-1910) and Hulda Jane Clawson (1842-1913)
The family has several last name spellings:
