Rites will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Parsons funeral home, Ripley, for Mrs. Mae Celina Woodfell, 78, of Staats Mills, Jackson county, who died Wednesday evening at her home.
The Rev. Nobel Harper will officiate with burial to be in the Woodfell cemetery at Staats Mills.
Born at Staats Mills, a daughter of the late Charlie and Ida Baker Bolsworth sic, she was a life long resident of that community.
Survivors include one son, Holbert Woodfell, Charleston; three daughters, Mrs. Zelma Guthrie and Mrs. Ida Tolley, both of Ripley, and Mildred Woodfell, Staats Mills; seven brothers, Holley Bolsworth sic East Liverpool, O., Charles Bolsworth sic, Gallipolis, Rex of Arkansas, Edward of Hemlock, W.Va., Cecil of Warren, Elmore of Kinkersville, O., and Clarence of Chester; six sisters, Mrs. Pearl Edwards, Ella Bolsworth sic and Mrs. Blanche Easter, all of Ripley, Mrs. Dollie Rardon of Kinkersville, Mrs. Freda Gill of Warren and Mrs. Belle Byers of Chester; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
