Harold Edward Bosworth, 83, of Church Street, Evans, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 1990, in Jackson General Hospital following a long illness. He was born at Ripley, a son of the late Charles Jefferson Bosworth and Ida Baker Bosworth. He was a World War II veteran, owner of a general store in Hemlock, a farmer and construction worker. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Richard Bosworth; one son, Robert E. Bosworth of Evans; one daughter, Ida Pursley of Sandyville; one brother, Rex Bosworth of Marshall, Ark.; one sister, Dolly Rardin of Kirkersville, Ohio; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services were Sunday at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with the Rev. Charles Cavender officiating. Burial was in Ravenswood Cemetery.
