Nora Ann Lau, 77, of 599 Highway 32 South, Three Lakes, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 1995, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rhinelander.
She was born on Aug 3, 1918, in the Town of LeRoy, a daughter of Henry and Leona Walters Adelmeyer. On June 2, 1937, she married Harvey Lau at Brownsville.
Mrs. Lau and her husband farmed for 32 years in the Town of Theresa and then owned and operated White Eagle Motel in Eagle River. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in the Town of Lomira.
Survivors include one son, Henry of Three Lakes; one daughter, Christine Firzpatrick and her husband Robert of Oconomowoc; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Norbert Adelmeyer and his wife Bernice of Brownsville; one sister, Dorothy Ende and her husband, Fred of Mayville; and nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband in 193; three sisters, Gertrude, Alice and Agnes; and three brothers, Raymond, Vilas and Robert.
Services: Funeral services will be held at 11 am. Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in the Town of Lomira. The Rev. Darryl W. Kenagy will officiate. Burial will be at Kekoskee Cemetery.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville, and at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to the time of services.
Memorials in her name may be directed to St Paul Lutheran Church.
