Mrs. Adolph Scheberl, 55, of 112 S. Clark St., Mayville, died Sunday at her home following a lingering illness.

Born Dec. 9, 1910, in the Town of Oakfield, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Adelmeyer. She was married to Mr. Scheberl April 4, 1929, in Brownille. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Mayville, and the St. Paul Senior Luther League.

Survivors include her widower; eight daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Lechner, Kekoskee and Mrs. Joseph Simich, Mrs. Lee Grabow, Mrs. Ernesto Leal, Mrs. Willard Mattson, Mrs. Alois Neumeyer Jr. and Miss Linda and Miss Lou Ann Scheberl, all residing in Mayville.

Other survivors include one son, Lloyd,, Mayville; 19 grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Zangl, Mayville, and Mrs. Alice Czoschke, Brownsville, Mrs. Harvey Lau, Lomira; Mrs. Michael Scheberl, Oakfield; and three brothers Vilas, Oakfield, and Norbert, and Robert residing in Brownsville. She was preceded in death by one brother.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, until 11:30 a.m. Wednesday when the body will be moved to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and lie in state from noon until the 2 p.m. funeral service, Rev. Russell Miller officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Mayville.
