Carolyn Virginia Hensley, 76, of Keezletown, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004, at home following a brief illness.


Mrs. Hensley was born Aug. 12, 1927, in Keezletown and was the daughter of the late Wade Lee and Ora Katherine Boyer Armentrout, and was reared by her uncle and aunt, Elmer and Margaret Armentrout.


She lived all her life in the Keezletown community and was a homemaker.


On July 8, 1949, she married Everett R. Hensley, who survives.


Also surviving are four children, Eddy Hensley of Luray, Darlene Quackenbush and Ora Jane Huffman, both of Harrisonburg, and Sheila Ann Hensley of Woodbridge; two brothers, Carl and Kennis Armentrout, both of Keezletown; three sisters, Margaret Dove of Keezletown, Joyce Allman of Briery Branch and Joan Cromer of Ottobine, and seven grandchildren.


A private graveside service will be held in the Keezletown Cemetery.


The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today (Friday) at the Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home.
