Ridgeway, Va. R.F.D.
A lovely character passed to her reward when on Jan. 28th, Mrs. Lucy Ann Bell died.
She had been ill about three weeks. Hope for recovery held out till the last few days, even then her death came as a shock to her loved ones.
Funeral services were conducted at her home near Price, N.C. by Elder Spangler of the Baptist Church.
She was buried at the Pace home near Ridgeway, Va.
She leaves besides her husband, six sons, and three daughters, Mesdames Ward of Leaksville, N.C., Tom Lester of Stoneville, N.C. and Belton of near Price; George and John of Spray, N.C., Lee, Joe and Willie at home, and Edd of Bassett, Va., also two brothers, J. T. and G. B. Pace.
She would have been 76 years of age next July.
Mr. and Mrs. George Pace, Mr. and Mrs. Emory Pace and Addie their daughter of Fieldale, Va., and Mrs. Thomas Minter of Leatherwood, Va., and Mr. and Mrs. Chapell of Martinsville, were among the relatives who attended Mrs. Bells' funeral.
